I stood beneath the Sphinx,
And across the desert
You came riding on a camel,
Laughing at all the sand.
I wandered through the ruins
Of Angkor Wat, and, looking up,
Saw you, clutching a tulip,
With that clownish smile.
I stood on the cliffs
Of Easter Island, and there
You were, swimming off the rocks,
Waving a dainty hand.
